How do I reserve my activity/day pass online? 
Please visit our Registration site to create an account and reserve your activity. 

Recreation Swim: Guests to the Recreation Center will need to make an online reservation for quick access to the pool. Monthly pass holders do not need to make a reservation.

Group exercise: All will need to make an online reservation to attend group exercise classes. Please make sure you cancel in advance if you are unable to attend.

Need to cancel a reservation?

Login and click on 'Account'. Then click on 'Registered Activities'. Select the program you want to cancel, 'View Details' and "Cancel Reservation'. That's it! Thank you for cancelling at least a day in advance to allow for others to fill your slot! 

If you have made a reservation for group exercise there is a 10 minute grace period for arriving. If you have not arrived by 10 minutes after the beginning of the timeslot, we may give away your slot to someone waiting. 

*Proof of residency such as a driver’s license or utility bill is required to receive a resident discount when purchasing a day pass or renewing a pass.

Interested in hosting a party that away from home? The Recreation Center offers Rockwall parties year-round and pool parties during the summer.

Rec Swim

• Resident Fee: $225
• Non-Resident Fee: $270
• Available Times: June–August, Saturday & Sunday, 1–4 p.m.
• Notes & Capacity:
  • Includes Party Room, Shipwreck Cove, OR Tiki Corner
  • Covers up to 20 people

Private Swim

• Resident Fee:
  • Leisure Only: $350
  • Leisure + 1 hour slide: $450
• Non-Resident Fee:
  • Leisure Only: $420
  • Leisure + 1 hour slide: $540
• Available Times:
  • June–August: Saturday & Sunday, 5:30–8:30 p.m.*
  • September: Saturday & Sunday (inquire for availability)
• Notes & Capacity:
  • Includes up to 50 people
  • Use of activity pool, slide (if reserved), and Shipwreck Cove
  • Additional guests:
    • +$50 for 25 extra guests
    • +$75 for one additional hour of slide use
  • Swim time: 6–8 p.m.; set-up: 5:30–6 p.m.; clean-up: 8–8:30 p.m.
  • Party Room is not included but can be added for $20/hr

Rockwall

• Resident Fee: $225

  • Friday: 5–8 p.m.
  • Saturday: 1–7 p.m.
  • Sunday: 9 a.m.–7 p.m.
• Notes & Capacity:
  • Includes Party Room and up to 15 climbers

Party Room Only

• Resident Fee: $20/hr
• Non-Resident Fee: $24/hr
• Available Times: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–8 p.m.
• Notes & Capacity:
  • Maximum capacity of 25 people
  • Requires additional time for set-up and clean-up

Lap Swim
Anyone 13 and older may lap swim. All lap swim lanes are considered shared lanes. You may be asked by a swimmer to share your lane. Read 'Lap Swimming Etiquette' tp know what to expect.

Why are there limited lap swim hours?
Per the City’s Joint Use Agreement with Washington Unified School District for use of the Recreation Center, lap swim hours are adjusted throughout the year to accommodate River City High School athletics.

The tennis courts are freshly resurfaced! We now also have pickleball courts! 

 Who can play tennis? 

Anyone with a pass may use the courts. Check the schedule below before you plan your visit.

When can I play?

Generally the courts are available dawn to dusk.* Check out our Tennis Calendar for court times!

*During certain times of the year, other organized programming use the courts at specific times. 

Will equipment be provided? 

Each participant will be required to bring their own equipment.

Pickleball:

Pickleball open gym will be on Monday, Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings inside the basketball gym. See our gym calendar for specific dates/times. Also, we do have two pickleball courts on the outdoor tennis courts (Court 1). Those courts are available anytime there is open tennis play. You will need to checkout a pickleball net at the front desk and setup the net. Please bring your own paddle if you have one, if not we can provide one for you.

Pickleball clinic dates are TBD. If you are interested in attending a pickleball clinic please email Chris Froshaug at chrisf@xlhl.net.

Who can use the gym?

Any individual ages 8 and up can use the gym. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Please check the calendar or call before you stop by to use the gym. There may be other activities in the gym at the time you plan to attend. 

How much does it cost?

A day pass or monthly pass gives access to the facility. Please check in at the front desk with your Rec Card. 

Will equipment be provided? 

At this time, please bring your own equipment. 

Who can sign up for Cardio/Strength? 
Anyone 13 or older may use the cardio/strength equipment.

What cardio equipment is available? 

Our indoor cardio/strength is available anytime the Recreation Center is open for drop in use. All participants are asked to respect others space and clean any equipment used during your visit.

Who can sign up for Group Exercise? 
Anyone 13 or older may reserve a Group Exercise reservation. 

Will equipment be provided? 
Yes. For Yoga classes, please bring your own mat.
